When should I order my bridal dress?
We recommend ordering your bridal dress about six – nine months before your wedding date. This will enable us to get your dress here in a comfortable time scale so your alterations can be made. We have however completed bridal orders in a much shorter time scale.
Is this the same for bridesmaids?
Bridesmaids’ dresses do have a shorter delivery time. You need to allow about four – six months for delivery of your dress or dresses. This again will enable us to get your dresses here within a comfortable timescale for your alteration work.
What about the groom?
You need to book an appointment for the groom to visit our men’s room where he can try on various suit styles, waistcoat, ruche ties etc.I would allow about four – five months before your wedding date.
We then arrange for all the other men to visit the store individually so we can get measurements from them, boys included. The boys in the party will then need to be re-measured two – three weeks before the wedding.
All of the men’s suits will arrive one week before the wedding date please make sure that all of the party visit the store at your appointment time for this try on. If there are any changeovers needed we can then get these organised.
You will need to book appointments for the men’s wear room.
If I change my mind or if the wedding is cancelled do I get a refund?
No we are very sorry but we can not issue refunds. Please see terms and conditions on your paperwork.
Why does my dress have to have alterations?
The dresses we have in store are not made to fit gowns they are made to order. Your bridal consultant will discuss the best size for you and what alterations you may need.
We find that most brides will need a tweak to their dress to achieve a comfortable fit.
Please not that all alterations are not included with in the price of your gown and are payable by you. We do have a price list for this work displayed in store and in the dressing areas.
What is the latest day I can collect my dresses and suits?
Most brides prefer to collect all of their items the day before the wedding date.
This is fine by us as we do make sure that all gowns have been re-pressed ready for the big day
